Normally the MPS in the whole section lies b/w 50-95 kmph in stretches...The place where photo is clicked have MPS of 85 kmph during visibility Hours & 30 kmph beyond that...Generally in the Elephant Prone Zone 30 kmph speed restriction is applied when its dark around & time for Elephants to migrate from one forest to the other.Since past month,Flush Lights have been installed near every KM post to increase the visibility during Night Hrs.That proved to be a costly affair for NFR especially in the monsoon when most of the Lights have developed technical snag due to excessive rainfall.

Apart from a Dismantled station building there is no sign of DPO Station.The freights marshalling yard which used to exist during the MG Era,has been converted into Nature & Wild Heritage Resort by the Forest Authorities.Few more places have been occupied by the KV,Alipurduar New Building.

i was in HAE coach and it was a 2013 make coach, but still bathrooms at both ends were dirty, window panes of our cabin broken, other 5 ac coaches were worse then that, atleast 3A coaches were pathetic, only A1 was decent

That is the problem...SPJ WDM 2A is nowhere comparable to SGUJ WDP4 & moreover it has to stop at every alternate stations...so as a precautionary measure SGUJ WDP4 is running @ 60 kmph which is actually fit for 110 kmph run b/w PNBE-MKA so that not to hit the Koshi Exp from behind :D
