This train has officially changed its locomotive from Ahmedabad to Rajkot, along with a few other trains starting/ending in Porbandar/Veraval. Here's the timeline of the Saurashtra Janata express locomotive change: 1. Pictures 1 to 7: A shiny red hot Bl (Vadodara) Wap-4e #22280 is casually waiting for the 19218 train to arrive at Rajkot station. 2. Pictures 8 to 11: The SBI (Sabarmati) Wdp4d #40323 arrives with the 19218/Veraval Bandra Saurashtra Janata express at Rajkot station on platform no. 4 (previously platform no. 7). In pictures 8 and 10, the 11464/Jabalpur Veraval express, running 3 hours late, is ready to depart from platform no. 2 of Rajkot station. 3. Pictures 12 to 18: The SBI Wdp4d is disconnected and moves as a light locomotive towards the Yard for a quick rest. 4. Pictures 19 to 27: After picking up the Saurashtra Janata express from Veraval, the SBI Wdp4d heads to the Yard for a rest while passing through platform no. 5 (previously platform no. 7) at Rajkot station.
