Presenting some randomly captured pictures of Ballygunge Junction. This pictures were captured from platform numbered 4 at BLN...
BLN is a traditional enriched posh suburb of South Kolkata. Deeply entrenched in the city's mythos, many of the prominent personalities from Calcutta have deep connections with Ballygunge....

Full Platform shed is not there one of the most imp amenity specially in this rainy season....
Full platform shelter is not available in most of the stations of SDAH Division even not in Bidhanagar station also....i have several times tweeted to Drm SDAH about it but Drm has no headache on it.. But yes width of platform in Ballygaunge is quiet good otherwise like most other stn of SDAH where there is no space to walk in platform too much congested and also full of hawkers in platform. Even in bidhannagar stn is the same when 2 trains are together announced in one platform then no place to walk on platform gets congested fully.
