Arambag to Tarakeswar rail is angel for passengers. At Kamarkundu bypass rail track should be layed to connect directly with HB Chord line. Arambag to Howrah / Sealdah will be very easy via Chord line

But Karur-Salem-Namakkal and many BG routes opened months back.
Recently Jaggayyapeta-mallecheruvu 20 km route opened. But in these route not a single train running. Its great to see a train for 6 km on newly opened BG line.

It is not 6 km. The train travels from Arambagh to Tarakeswar via Talpur, Takipur and Mayapur. It is much much more than 6 km.

the 6 km showing is the distance between tarakeshwar to talpur but the dmu will go upto arambagh which is about 25 km..

Yea, it will certainly benefit the local people. Now there will be diesel trains serving the area, later after electrification, more trains will run.
