In fulfillment of the announcement in the last Railway Budget, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced the extension of Puri-Parlakhemundi passenger train to Gunupur from August 2, 2011. The timings of this train in both the direction between Puri and Parlakhemundi will remain unchanged. Puri-Gunupur passenger will leave Puri at 07.50 hrs and reach Parlakhemundi at 18.45 hrs.
