Mr Kapadia, if you are reading this, you can check how a vacant PQ is used to allot berth for end to end passenger. After the only vacant PQ berth is alloted, the RAC starts for GN quota. This means that PQ is "also" used to allot berths, than can be alloted from GN/RS/RL quotas. The RAC/WL starts only after berths from all "eligible" quotas for allotment are over.

There is also one more thing to remember. Now if this particular passenger (who is eligible for GN/RS/RL quotas) cancels his PQ alloted berth, its the GN-WL that advances and not the PQWL. In a sense, the PQ berth gets "converted" into a GN quota berth.

Yes, you can get down at Mathura Jn with a ticket from Mumbai Central to New Delhi.

1. You have put a matter related to 2953 in the section of 5013.
2. Railways does not bother, if you get down before destination station.
3. In such a case, you can surrender the ticket to the Head TC / Station Master where you terminate your journedy and get a TDR. On applying with the TDR to the concerned Railway Zone, you will get 50% of the fare difference between the actual charged one and chargeable for the actual travel you had completed. However, this provision is not applicable to Rajdhani and Shatabdi Trains.

sorry, thre is no metro connection to airport at present.
after getting down at airport, go to the prepaid taxi booth, inform your destination and pay the amount. you will be taken to Sarai Rohilla/old Delhi Station without any additional payment to the driver.
Sarai Rohilla and Old Delhi Railway station are different from one another and in different directions. look in your tkt for boarding station.
approx. time taken for sarai rohilla is approx 30-45 mts (depends on traffic). approx. time for old delhi station is about an hour. pls leave adequate time for any unexpected delays like procession etc.
Other cheaper alternative is by auto - ask the traffic police booth in airport if auto is available go for it since you do not have any big luggage with you.

Straight distance between IGI and Old Delhi is 20 km. Road distance is much more, maybe 30 kms, depending on route. Time taken will depend on the time of day. In peak evening times, you should budget at least 2 hours, even by prepaid taxi. The Old Delhi railway station area is very congested. When it comes to catching a train, always give yourself ample time, or you will miss it.
