Boss there's discripency in the chrges for the food, the same plate (veg full meal) is being charged Rs. 50, Rs. 45, Rs. 40, Rs. 35 and as written by you Rs. 30. There is diffrence of Rs. 5 if it contains paneer or not. But you won't find uniform charges for the meal, they are charging like anything.

Yes food is provided in Swaraj Express, this is one of the best train on this route.

Standard breakfast: Rs 17.00 Veg, Non Veg: Rs 20
Standard Casserole Meals Veg: Rs 30.00 Non Veg: 35
Service tax extra" 5.10 extra.

While you say 100% and 101%, 'Most 'Likely' also represents the same with a margin but.
You both seems to be so experienced and exposed that you know RAC 10 is confirmed on all the days.
I have Seen Golden Temple Mail (2903), Mumbai Central - New Delhi original RAC1 remaining at RAC1 in the chart.
This RAC10 is reported when less than 30 Hrs. are there in between this reporting and the departure of the train.
While you both have been aggressive in declaring 100/101%, I remained moderate but gave the same message with cushion.
A simple question to both of you SIRS! Why in this case the Railways is maintaining RAC 10 status? Why not it delcares it having been CONFIRMED?

1. You have a good chance of confirmation.
2. Train charts are prepared 4 hours in advance of the departure of the train. For trains leaving early morning upto say 1000 hrs, charts are prepared previous evening by 8.30 p.m. or so.
3. You can continuously find out where you stand by dialling 139 and following the procedures described by the system.

This means ,this train does nt book for passengers travelling b/w the two cities , this thing is applicable in few important trains now a days...

'Not Available' simply means that seats are not available on the specified date.

I think railways dont entertain tickets
b/w ambala and mathura. Tickets are nt even available from ludhiana.
Only option is from jalandhar to mathura or ambala to madhopur.
