Train Blog<--- expand blog --->This train should stop at salem junction atleast for 1 min...because most of the people can choose this train for going earlier.. ya railway should make a halt for 5 mins in salem No need of salem stop. First of all erode stop should be removed. Life long this train should not stop in useless salem for ever. You have got division from our Palakkad. So many Kerala Trains have to Skip salem, then only you people will understand how difficult to get a train without us. This train should stop at avadi Avadi is a useless railway station. compare to the speed of tvc-mas mail(2624) and super fast(2696) this train runs very slowly though it has only 8 halts.depends on the number of stops it shold be upgraded to the speed of a super deluxe express and it could reach chennai by 10am.in kerala it runs only during night thus low traffic so could increse the speed.from coimbatore to chennai all the way we have electrified double line and speed shouldnt be a problem.if the authorities and the new minister E.Ahamed might look at the schedule and should decide on speed and frequency increase.if that happens this will be a five star service for the people who wanted to leave home late and reach chennai in the morning.plus pls add a pantry because people needs dinner and breakfast. @first blogger: 2624 is now superfast mail. The section from Chenganoor to Ernakulam town is not double though electrified the train may get delayed here. please train to departe mas @17.00 HRS. @first blogger: Thi train arrives @ MAS not departing from there 2697 (ie the same train from MAS to TVC) has a good schedule. My mom said she'll prefer tatkal in Anathapuri rather than arrive Chennai at around 12:30 PM. And unlike 2697 it arrives late too and last time she travelled, it was 1 PM at MAS. Cut the running time by at least 60 minutes. Else there won't be much takers. See, I can buy a ticket prior to departure (or just before the chart preparation) and be assured for a confirmed berth. TVC-KYJ, PGT-MAS is doubled and electrified. Not sure about the ERN-PGT section.
