While travelling in AC 1st class of this train, as an Elderly passenger, I was pleasantly surprised to see a "Full Staircase" leading to the Upper Berth. I am not sure if this is offered in all trains, but I am seeing this for the first time. A welcome improvement.

The cleaning of this train is ultimate. They have completely overhauled the cleanliness over the last one year. On-board house keeping facility is available on this train. Toilets are frequently cleaned by on-board staff in addition to the contract cleaning at Solapur station. Soaps, hand wash is available at toilets. Floors inside the coach also cleaned at time to time. Perfumes are sprayed at regular intervals. To be short, inside compartments will make you feel at genuine 3-star hotel. 2AC coaches are older look than 3AC coaches. Hence prefer 3AC over 2AC while booking.
Are the Sleeper Class Coaches also kept like this. An 'yes' reply would be superb!
Unfortunately No. Average cleanliness.
I'm very sorry, I did not travel in SL coaches in last one year and did not even visited there to know more about it. However, with my old experience (over five years), it was average. Further, the return train 11014 cleanliness condition is very very worst because of very less buffer time given at CBE.
Thank God! At least the AC Coaches are well maintained. Let's pray SL too get this cleanliness.
last month itravelled in this train in 3ac very good experiance and i noted most of sl coaches are new 2013 model and maintainance is not bad comparing to jayanthi janatha and food also good in this train
Had travelled in this train almost a year back from cbe till pune. The train arrived late from ltt and after just a 2 hr wait in the pf departed late from cbe. The 2 hrs were used to clean the coaches. Cleaning was very ordinary. Cant blame them. The buffer time at cbe is extremely less.
There was no onboard housekeeping in the train during that time for sleeper
Agreed... In return 11014 train, the cleaning is very ordinary because of less buffer time. I am also not sure about on board housekeeping for SL coach even now also. But, if the railways can change the TT of this train by providing an additional rake, it will be beneficial for passengers, which is more unlikely though.
Earlier when the departure from cbe was at 5 am, there was a buffer rake because the train that arrived at cbe at 7am only left next day at 5am so almost 20 hrs buffer time for maintenance,cleanliness also. After departure changed to 8am from cbe, the rake that arrives in the morning from ltt leaves again within 2 hours. Also its a logistical nightmare for the ac coach staff since they have to carry lots of extra bedrolls etc from ltt itself since nothing is loaded from cbe
If you are traveling in SL class... It will be terrible... no cleanness at all & very old coaches and toilets are remain uncleaned & smelly like any thing... The timing also avg delay of 1.5 to 2 hrs....

If you are travelling from ltt to bangalore and the waiting lists are high...then book till hosur as it falls under general waitlist so tickets get easily confirmed
now they moved the quota to Salem... So booking upto Hosur will not work now..
The Quota has been moved only for 11014, 11013 is still under General Quota for LTT HSRA and PQWL for LTT SBC.
it would be better to book till salem at least it will be cheaper than booking in CK & PT quota
Only vegetarian food is available in the pantry of this train. But quality of food is much much better and comparable with mid-range hotels. All the timings (starting from Dinner on Day 1) one will get food on this train. Never need to worry about packing food if you travel in this train.
They never give spoons in food packet.

You're right... However in fried rice packet they provide spoons, that is for sure. Further, in south india, people do not use spoons most of the times. Even in hotels, one need to ask for spoons, if one needs. Since I also do not prefer spoons, I did not notice this point.
I have traveled in 3AC and 2AC in this train. Beddings are clean but they are quite older. Towel can be availed on demand.
Towel part of Bed Roll then why supply on demand ?
Old Bed Roll is very common in IR.
Many people do not use Towels and many Towels supplied to passengers goes missing on this train, said attendant. But they never hesitate to provide towel whenever passenger asks.
80% of the time in a year, one will easily get tickets in general, just one week before the date of journey between LTT and post Bengaluru. But between LTT-Bengaluru one would often end up with waiting list. Needless to say, Tatakl tickets are quite easily available (in comparison with other trains). In general quota, waiting status of 2AC tickets may not move faster, but 3AC moves faster and probability of getting confirmed ticket is very high.
During Feb2013 I got SL Rac 25 ticket from KYN to SA to travel on may25 2013 .But it did not confirm until 23rd may.It got confirmed on the midnight of 24th

Sir I got rac 11 in this train journey date 09/05 .. if it remain unchanged till the date journy can I board into the train or not
RAC means you are allowed to enter occupy the berth and share with other one. and your allotted berth will be in the multiple of 8 if it is SL class. RAC is advanced than WL ... it has better chances of confirmation,
Reservation against cancellation RAC ... go ahead and prepare for journey ..
