There are illiterate people who use these charging points for all kinds of purposes like using hot water ketlle etc. Such idiots will burn the whole train so its better to switch off the points at night. In udyan from SBC the charging point got burnt because a stupid old couple kept using their kettle every 15 mins on the whole trip (even at night) and eventually the charging point blew up by the time Solapur came.

I am not sure whether 'illiterate' is a right word to use. Many people who are not literate have a great deal of common sense (my experience) and some literate people tend to do things which you have mentioned.

They are illiterate since in plain bold english hindi and marathi it was written the charging point is meant for only mobile phone usage. Plus it seemed those people have come from switzerland, demanding hot water every 15 mins just because the plug point is there.

Like I said it has been my experience and yours, no doubt is different. I have seen many literate people in my life who ignore such notices despite having a developed faculty of reading.

Yes definitely. I was being sarcastic sir. There are many padhe likhe illiterates in the country. I was meaning their literacy is waste if they cannot understand simple instructions.

And those whoever going to throw empty water bottle please make sure to press the cap little bit and put that one inside the bottle so that your thrown bottle should not be used again for filling any tap water and sale it again at 15 Rs. This is going on more now a days so if you even crush the bottle its no use as it takes its shape back and its easy to reuse it.
