Please do not travel in this train. Not at all clean, safe especially for women passengers and also kids they'll definitely fall ill. A.C is like ewww right from ernakulam!!! A.C is good in trains like kerala sampark kranti, rajdhani than this one. This train back then used to be so clean when we used to board from Nasik. For mumbaikars netravati is so much better than mangala(in all terms) or kerala sampark kranti even much better.
What about 3A & 2A of this train?
Both times we travelled in 2nd AC it was too bad. Please go for kerala sampark kranti or rajdhani.
One of the worst pantry service. Absolutely disgusting in terms of cleanliness and hygiene and even taste. Chicken biriyani tastes like it was prepared in stone age and preserved. Earlier contractor was awesome. Now, the pantry is handled by Meals on Wheels.
Buy your lunch from Agra, Dinner from Bhopal on day 1. Lunch from Ratnagiri/Chiplun and Dinner from Madgaon on day 2.

Travelled to Udupi from Nizamuddin by Mangla Exp. Not a good experience. 26 stations on almost 40 hrs journey. Cleanliness in train was pretty bad. None cleaned it throughout the journey. Foood by Meals on Wheels was not good. Arrival time was odd. One on the night. Return journey by Sampark Kranti was very good. Only 7 stations between Mangalore and New Delhi. Cleaned several times during journey. Was perhaps outsourced. Food was tolerably good by IRCTC. Was punctual.

It's not as bad as it's made to look on this page. Cleaning in 2A at JHS...and then happened at Chiplun as well., I guess it was attended at Bhusaval too during the night. Maybe it wasn't attended too well a year ago.
Is train ka Madhya Pradesh state me know halt kyo nahi hai,
Jabki ye train mp.me approx 300 km run Kartika hai
Jabki Raajdhani exp. Durango exp.ka Ratlam me halt diya gaya hai.
Kyun ke yeh Sampark Kranti Express hain, so apne home state ke alawa doosre states mein kam halts hii honge.
Maharashtra, Gujarat, me to is ke panel stations per halt diya hai,
Kota Vadodara ......
Those halts are given for crew change & fuel re-filling, consider them as technical halts.
Additional for Madhya Pradesh there's already an Madhya Pradesh Sampark Kranti running.
Kota & Vadodara are Commercial Halt.
Those are Technical cum Commercial halts.
Some one please shed some light over the issue, that aren't over Kota & Vadodara there's crew change? as far as I know this is the place where crew changing happens.

Kya ye trains bhi S.K.ki category ki hai ?

Btw it's not Konchuveli it's Kochuveli or you can say directly KCVL. Yes ap sahi keh rhe h in dono trains ki halt honi chahiye kyunki dono normal SF h. Unke UR coach bhi lagbhag khali chalti h to agar inko RTM me stop denge to waha k short distance passengers ko fayda milega.
I have traveled by this train many times. I have no issues with the timing and punctuality but the rakes are too dirty,bad and smelly. The food is also very waste. Last time when i had traveled by this train(12618), the vendors were caught for taking water from bathroom for making tea. This has happened again recently too in 12617. IR should really realize that passengers are paying money for their comfort and should at least pay a small attention towards such things. The rakes should be well maintained too.
Don't expect much from SR train
well do you think that's a good approach? why to expect less from SR train? all passengers traveling in SR trains pay the same amount like other passengers traveling in NR or ER trains.
i must tell you the NR train like asr-kcvl and 12431 are not that clean and hygienic either.
i too agree such good train should have got lhb but due to lots of corruption we are delaying
well getting LHB is a different thing but at least they can maintain coaches. I'm a frequent traveler in 12625,12431,12617. i have many bad experiences and have mentioned it in complaint book as well but no use.

This train is as filthy as anyone can imagine ever!!!!
Sleeper Coaches are pretty Old and charging outlets are available only near the doors. Some of them dont even work.
No surprises there.:-P .
Some wcr coaches found its way in to one rake which are brand new with charging points and bio toilets
