food quality was very bad in 1st ac , travel dt. 11/04/14
In Non Rajdhani trains food for all classes whether sleeper or 1st ac is the same!!
Did you lodge a written complaint with the Pantry manager. All pantry managers has complaint books.
Otherwise Coach Supervisor too have complaint books.
I always thought that food for all other classes was loaded from a base kitchen while it was made in the PC for 1A?

This train is also known as Deluxe in Northern Region. Dont know about other regions, as i haven't been able to find. But, whenever my relatives used to visit us, they always said we are coming by Deluxe.

In its early days this train runs as A.C. express combined between NDLS-ASR with HWH-NDLS A.C. exp. (now poorva exp.). On that time both trains called as deluxe exp. on their route.

This train's local name in Mumbai is Deluxe. Just like Frontier this train is famous for its old name and old fame
Most of the long running SF trains from BCT/BDTS are clean indeed i.e. Paschim Express, Golden Temple Mail, Jaipur SF Express. Avantika Express and Vadodara Express fall in second category as they are not as clean as the above mentioned pioneers however still they are bearable.

as Poorva was the first AC Deluxe express of IR when the Air Conditioned technology has been introduced, later IR added SL class n renamed it to Poorva.. still older generation call it Deluxe ;)

what was the menu ? how was the bedding quality as people often complaint about poor quality bedding in this train ?
Urgent need for removing the KLK slip coaches and diverting these coaches to ASR side....
Alternately 22451 can be extended to KLK and can be made into a tri weekly train or four times a week.......
All pax are not Ex ASR, considerable pax board/deborad at UMB and onwards towards NDLS...
first it was good when it had less halt but now it is just like sabarmati halting at every place like andheri,Dhananu road, navsari, meghnagar,gangapur city, hinduan city, bharatpur junction, bayana junction in wetern railways so some halts should be reduced
