The compartment was dirty. It really looked quite pathetic and I am sorry to say, I have seen better cleanliness in other non-premium trains(Saraighat, East Coast, Kamrup etc.). Also, no one was bothered about the cleanliness as no staff came to clean up(in contrast, East Coast OBHS staff came twice to clean the compartment between HWH-KGP)

Toilet was clean but overall, disappointed with the cleanliness.

Don't be fooled by the Humsafar branding. This train is just like a normal 3AC train and so naturally, you will face the problems of 3AC plus high fare. Many things promised by IR for Humsafar is not present in this train. It includes no curtains(like in 2AC), no coffee vending machine and also, the seats felt uncomfortable. Trust me, there is no need spending so much money for essentially a glorified 3AC train. If you want comfort, go for 2AC in trains like HWH-YPR Express or Duronto Express and if you want the fastest connectivity, look no further than Duronto. Yes, Duronto also has high fare but you will get food, less stops, high speed run and also punctuality.

Three charging outlets are present for each row of seats. Two charging outlets are present for each UB, LB and MB berths and one charging point is present for the SL berth.

Pathetic punctuality...still at Tikiapara carshade...worst priority train after vskp I have seen in many years. Cleanliness also poor. Perfect example how IR is fooling people in the name of new brand name trains like this Humsafar. Worst experience so far in a train journey.. every express and most local and passenger trains are given priority over this. This is Hum suffer not Humsafar!
