Andul se Sealdah jaane me hi maximum slack hai... Itne chote se distance me 1.5 hour lag jaata hai easily. Same Shalimar Patna Duronto ke saath bhi hota hai Shalimar se Dankuni pohonchne me 1 hr lagta hai use bhi. Baaki route pe speed thik hi hai dono ki
The the biggest ques is whether it may retain its occupancy if terminal is changed to Shalimar or Santragachi?

No Terminal change for Sealdah-Puri Duronto exp will be done. Sealdah-Puri gets passengers and this train is for huge no of passengers of Noth 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas, Nadia districts, and parts of Kolkata for these districts Sealdah is a nearest station and had very good direct EMU/ MEMU connectivity. This train was given to cater passengers of these regions.
For these districts passengers Santragachi, Shalimar stations are far away and not very smooth communication present there.
Would not happen bro. The train is important for people from northern part of kolkata and the only connection for puri bound passengers from the other side of hooghly. SHM/SRC passengers have loads of trains for them. Furthermore the extra time due to this extra route from sealdah to andal is quite useful for an hour of extra sleep which is essential in my opinion. 7-8 hrs of sleep is necessary for a fresh next day. Had the train started from HWH/SHM, people would get less than 6 hrs of sleep most probably.
