Exactly what I was thinking this morning, although the context was different.

You had a blog about why the mainline major stations of UP are neglected. And something I was thinking about is why people from Bihar are so concerned about trains.

The reason is simple, cities of UP are extensively served by UPSRTC, we have buses every few minutes to hours. That's why trains aren't much of a necessity here. And that makes up for the fact that despite being underserved by trains, it's not a matter of concern.

Whereas Bihar/Jharkhand lack state-run transport services, if not completely devoid of them. That creates the major difference and that's one of the reasons newer trains to Godda and CIC are justified even if most of the people here ridicule that step.

It's not about defending, it's more about what's required and what's being done.
