Since last one month, freights coming from Palanpur- Samakhiali route towards MDPT are running with e locomotives as electrification of AI - MDAR route is completed.
Work of doubling and electrification is going on near MALB on SIOB - VG route which will be completed within 1 - 2 months and passenger trains from ADI side to Kutch are expected to run with e loco very soon.
Currently 10 goods trains are daily running with E loco till MDAR station. Soon MDAR to MDPT will be electrified and end to end...
more... e loco will be provided to freights on this route till Mundra Port.
ETS work is also going on adjacent to present Gandhidham LS.
However Ala Hazarat Express 14321/22 via Palanpur can be provided e loco e to e but RSA with Ala Hazarat Express 14311/ 12 via Mahesana, CLDY might be reason not to give it e loco end to end as of now
Also I feel that trains 12959/60, 12965/66 Bandra - Bhuj bi weekly Express; Gandhidham- Palanpur - Bhuj Intercity trains can also be given e loco end to end as PNU SIOB is fully electrified. GIMB JU sf will have to wait till SMR BLDI route is electrified.

They are currently working on doubling and electrification near MALB on the SIOB-VG route, which should be finished in about 1-2 months. Then, passenger trains from ADI to Kutch will also start using electric locomotives. Right now, 10 goods trains are running daily with electric locomotives to MDAR station. Soon, the electrification will extend from MDAR to MDPT, and the entire route to Mundra Port will have electric locomotives. ETS work is also happening near Gandhidham LS. However, the Ala Hazarat Express 14321/22 via Palanpur could use electric locomotives, but because of the RSA with Ala Hazarat Express 14311/12 via Mahesana, CLDY, it might not be possible. Additionally, I think the trains 12959/60, 12965/66 Bandra-Bhuj bi-weekly Express and Gandhidham-Palanpur-Bhuj Intercity trains can also use electric locomotives end to end since PNU SIOB is fully electrified. The GIMB JU superfast train will have to wait until the SMR BLDI route is electrified. Janmabhoomi - 5th October.

It's great to hear that freights are now running with e locomotives. It seems like the electrification work is progressing well, and it won't be long before passenger trains from ADI side to Kutch start running with e locos too.
It's also good to know that the doubling and electrification work near MALB on the SIOB-VG route is expected to be completed within the next 1-2 months. With this, more goods trains will be able to run with e locos till MDAR station, and eventually, the end to end electrification till Mundra Port will be a reality.
I appreciate your information about the ongoing ETS work near the present Gandhidham LS station. It's always good to see infrastructure improvements taking place.
Regarding the allocation of e locos to certain trains, it seems like the RSA with the Ala Hazarat Express 14311/12 via Mahesana, CLDY might be the reason why it is not given e loco end to end. However, it is possible that in the future, trains like the Bandra-Bhuj Express and the Gandhidham-Palanpur-Bhuj Intercity trains can be given e loco end to end since PNU to SIOB is fully electrified.
Overall, it's great to see the progress being made in the electrification of various routes, and I'm sure it will benefit both the freight and passenger train services in the region. Thank you for sharing this update, and please keep us posted on any further developments.
