I like everything about this Rajdhani except the Jalgaon halt. It is pure politics. I have been opposed to it from the very beginning. Like the Durontos and other trains, it should have skipped Jalgaon and halted at Bhusaval. The latter is a divisional HQ, a big junction and has crew change facilities. Jalgaon might be a bigger town but is not big enough to warrant a Rajdhani halt.

2 years rigorously travelling between Mumbai and Jalgaon / Bhusawal....actually both the cities are well connected by road 24x7. People from JL always used to travel to BSL and take their respective trains which was not difficult at all.... But Politics have always won and will always win...."
I have personally experienced something similar having boarded trains from Mughalsarai when living in Varanasi. MGS is regarded as a satellite halt for Varanasi and people have no problem catching trains from there.
Now just to make this happen, the crew from BSL will be transported by car between Jalgaon and Bhusaval. How is it justified that the hardworking crew has to undergo this just for the JL halt? Sooner or later, BSL is going to show up as a tech halt and converted to commercial later. Also the JL halt has opened the door for others to follow - Manmad, Khandwa, Gwalior. So, how many of you would like to see this Rajdhani with 9 commercial halts? That is what I fear the most.
I have seen this happen all too often in the last 30 years. August Kranti Rajdhani started with TWO COMMERCIAL HALTS. Look where it is now. Hoping against hope my fear doesn't come true.

Conventional and old mentality needs to stop ....jalgaon is district headquarter and bigger as compared to bhusaval .it's not about jalgaon ....there are other places small villages around jalgaon like erandol pachore amalner which have better connectivity to jalgaon than bhusaval.
Not politics but logic. ....Good decision this typical mindset needs to change that A station may b big but B is a juntion so halt to B even if it does not deserve.
People of Maharashtra are happy's not politics

Im agree with Mani.. I don't think there would be much booking for this class of train from Jalgaon.. of course Jalgaon is one of bigger city of Maharashtra but still I don't think the halt was decided only considering the population and development of Jalgaon.. otherwise Gwalior is much more ahead in the list...
Jalgaon is only considered as a way to travel politicians towards Delhi.. as there were no premium trains halting at Jalgaon and there are no public airport at Jalgaon currently..
On other side.. Gwalior already has airport
plus premium trains like Shatabdi, Gatiman and Banglore Raj halts there.. so it has been Ignored..
This all my opinion.. Don't want to hurt anyone..

Bhai bhusawal se jo yatri hote hai aur jo figures hume dikhate hai darasal wo yatri 90% Jalgaon ke hote hai, jalgaon ke logon ko bhusawal jakar train pakadna padta hai, proper bhusawal ke yatri bas 10% hi hoti hai wo bhi short distance travel karte hai. IR main bahut si aisi stations jahan pe yatri na ke barabar hai wahan sab gaadiyon ko halt hota hai aur jaha sabse jya yatri hote hai waha trains halt nahi hota. Ye example lo BSL se bahot kaam yatri hote hai aur sabhi train yahan rukte hai aur JL se bahot hi jyada yatri hote hai wahan bas kuch hi train ko halt hai. Ye jo decision liya hai CR ne wo bahot hi accha hai aur sahi hai.
