Only way to increase number of platforms is to make separate platforms in a slightly disconnected place for originating trains only, just as in Indore and Haridwar.

But, the present status of BBSN station doesn't looks like to work as alternate option for BBS to de-congest. There is still lack of passenger facilities & amenities. only four P/Fs are operational having a small station building. Only few MEMUs are stopping there presently.
