मुंबई को एक और राजधानी एकेस्प्रेस मिल सकती है। यह नई राजधानी एकेस्प्रेस मुंबई छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज टर्मिनस से निकलेगी और दिल्ली इसका अंतिम स्टॉप होगा। इस नई राजधानी को मध्य रेलवे द्वारा संचालित किया जाएगा। फिलहाल अभी मुंबई से दो राजधानी गाड़ियां चलती है जिन्हे पश्चिम रेलवे द्वारा संचालित किया जाता है।

Man, the condition of the coaches of this MEMU in RSA is extremely poor. Even the lightings are not functioning properly. ER needs to get serious with their MEMU maintenance facility. It should bring new MEMU rakes after the codal life of these Grandpas are over.

I ain't interested to know what others have done in past. Different people have their own opinion under limited space. Flowing with those thoughts are basically meaningless. It's their life, their understanding. Sticking to a single person's bullshit opinion shouldn't be on our routine, right? Not every person is same.
People from both the towns are least interested about each other and that's the truth as you said. Purulia is smaller town in WB whereas Bokaro is SAIL planned hub of JH. In reality, because of being just 50 km apart they both share little resources amongst them peacefully. They have nothing in common to dash against.

I like everything about this Rajdhani except the Jalgaon halt. It seems to be a more political decision. I have been opposed to it from the very beginning. Like the Durontos and other trains, it should have skipped Jalgaon and halted at Bhusaval. The latter is a divisional HQ, a big junction and has crew change facilities. Jalgaon might be a bigger town but is not big enough to warrant a Rajdhani halt.

People from JL always used to travel to BSL and take their respective trains which was not difficult at all.... But Politics have always won and will always win...."
I have personally experienced something similar having boarded trains from Mughalsarai when living in Varanasi. MGS is regarded as a satellite halt for Varanasi and people have no problem catching trains from there.
Now just to make this happen, the crew from BSL will be transported by car between Jalgaon and Bhusaval. How is it justified that the hardworking crew has to undergo this just for the JL halt? Sooner or later, BSL is going to show up as a tech halt and converted to commercial later. Also the JL halt has opened the door for others to follow - Manmad, Khandwa, Gwalior. So, how many of you would like to see this Rajdhani with 9 commercial halts? That is what I fear the most.
I have seen this happen all too often in the last 30 years. August Kranti Rajdhani started with TWO COMMERCIAL HALTS. Look where it is now. Hoping against hope my fear doesn't come true.

Sir, with all due respects, I disagree with your thought that the halt at Jalgaon is politically motivated. The people of Jalgaon on any given day can provide more patronage than that of Bhusawal, which is why the station has got its own separate RL quota in the DN direction. Please keep checking the seat availability of this quota and you will find the answer yourself as to why the halt is justified.

The transportation of crew is also an administrative issue, which I feel will get sorted eventually based on the feedback of the LPs. I’m sure nobody will make the LPs work on this pattern by pointing a gun at them.

People who board the trains from Bhusawal are not necessarily from the same city, but are from Jalgaon and nearby places. In the recent past as well, the CR authorities have given halt to Jalgaon of full AC trains like LTT-LKO/KYQ AC, based on which the officials might have realized the potential of giving the Rajdhani a halt here.

I also understand your fear that people from other cities like Thane, Manmad, Khandwa will start demanding halts at those station. However, I haven’t come across any such instance in the past many years when anybody has stood up to demand a halt for 22109/22110 or any other train for that matter at any of these stations. There sure exists many other examples from other states and other trains, but using that to downgrade the importance of Jalgaon here I feel is not justified. To conclude, I would just say that the availability figures of the Jalgaon quota in coming runs will prove if the halt is justified or not. :-)

Thank you for your explanations! I was never doubting the patronage from Jalgaon which I am sure which will be good. It's just that I have always seen Bhusaval act as the railhead for Jalgaon district including the town. Used to seeing trains skipping JL but stopping at BSL. So, this reverse situation had me wondering about the real reason. But there has been some very sound reasons presented here why Jalgaon would be better.
I still maintain that a true Rajdhani should not have two successive halts within 180 km or so, unless it is within the suburbs of its originating stations. Never matter

what is happening with other Rajdhanis, I would prefer that this be treated as a royal train (similar to how the Rajdhanis were treated in the 70s and 80s). So, I definitely appreciate IR making it skip BSL and I would like it to remain that way. I also don't want to see GWL or any other halt.
It would be great to see this Rajdhani continue to receive the same priority and prestige for many years, as with the first two runs. Only time will tell ....
