It's just a zonal politics.
Is route pe koi bhi major station nhi hai.
Sab stations NSG-5, 4 aur kuch station NSG-3 categories ke hai.
Is route se train chalayenge to NR ka ye...
more... route bas ek bypass route ban jayega jisse NR ko bahut kam revenue hoga.
NR nhi chahta ki vo is route ko develope krne pe kharcha kre aur baaki zones iska istemal kre faster connection ke liye.
Via Lucknow route pe Kai badhe station aate hai jaise ki Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Pratapgarh, Jaunpur, Raebareli, Nihalgarh. In stations se achha revenue aata hai. Agar Unchahar dalmau wale route pe dekhe to Unchahar aur Unnao yahi dono achha revenue dene wale stations hai but inka revenue bhi bahut kam hai.
Maine iske regarding RTI bhi daali thi. (
/blog/post/6038489)Usme NR ne bola ki is route pe Phaphamau Bypass abhi passenger trains ke liye fit nhi hai.
Irony ye hai ki usi Phaphamau Bypass pe Sultanpur Prayagraj route ki train chalti hai aur malgadhi chalti hai. Fir bhi NR ke hisaab se vo route abhi fit nhi hai.
Bahanebaji hai sab ye.
please wait...Translate to EnglishIt's just zonal politics.
There are no major stations on this route.
All stations are NSG-5, 4, and some NSG-3 categories.
If trains run on this route, it will become just a bypass route for NR, resulting in very low revenue.
NR doesn't want to spend on developing this route and let other zones use it for faster connections.
The Lucknow route has many large stations like Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Pratapgarh, Jaunpur, Raebareli, Nihalgarh. These stations generate good revenue. Looking at the Unchahar Dalmau route, only Unchahar and Unnao are good revenue-generating stations, but their revenue is also very low.
I also filed an RTI regarding this. (link)
NR said that the Phaphamau Bypass is not yet fit for passenger trains on this route.
The irony is that passenger and goods trains on the Sultanpur Prayagraj route run on the same Phaphamau Bypass. Yet, according to NR, that route is not fit.
It's all excuses.
