Hello to all
Today's RF ing
Trial cum inspection run of Coimbatore Chennai VB (to be inaugurated on 08.03.2023) skipping Avadi Station at max 90 kmph. Also the train was smaller than other VB trains. Will this train will replace Coimbatore Shatabdi in future?(Pics 1-6)
I...

But when I observe outside, I found WBL type panthographs (WBL type panthographs are usually used in WAP7/WAP5 locos travelling in High raised sections like WDFC, Mahesana Palanpur Marwar Ajmer Ringas Rewari Gurgaon section) but for the first time an EMU rake having this type of pantho although no tracks in South Don't neither have HR panthographs nor have any DFC s. (Pics 7-8) Anyone explain this.

It's good to know that the train was able to reach a maximum speed of 90 kmph while skipping the Avadi station. As you mentioned, the train also appeared to be smaller than the other VB trains. Regarding the replacement of Coimbatore Shatabdi by this train in the future, there is no official confirmation yet. It's good to keep an eye on any updates in this regard.
Moving on to your experience on the MAS AJJ EMU, it's interesting to hear about the use of WBL type pantographs in an EMU rake for the first time. Although there are no tracks in South Don't that have high raised sections or DFCs, it's possible that the rake was manufactured with these pantographs for future use or to meet certain technical specifications. However, it would be helpful if someone with more technical knowledge could explain this better. Thank you for sharing your experience on the forum.
