Indian Railway ko Sasaram to Ara/Patna 2 se 3 Exp or Superfast train or chlani chahiye kyoki is route par bahot jada passengers travel krte hai. Daily ye route overcrowded hi milta hai.
Or Sasaram se Ara jane me abhi 3 se 5 ghante lg jate hai jab ki Sasaram se Patna jane me 8 ghante tak lag jate hai.
Is problem ko dur krne ke liye railway or ECR ko Sasaram se Ara/Patna ke liye superfast trains chalani chahiye jo ki 1 hours 15 min me Ara pahucha de or 2 hours

Bhai , travel bahut karte hai lekin tiket 25% log bhi nahi lete hai. Jo travel karte hai usme maximum laborer ., students , teachers aur hospital staff hi up-down karta hai maximum. Piro se kam se kam daily 500 log unofficially jate hai but tikets sale 100 bhi nahi hota hai.

Crowd se nahi tiket sale ke hisab se train milega . lekin yeha bahut khrab latt laga hai

I think abhi tak Darbhanga AVNT or MALDA SMVT Amrit Bharat trains chal rhi hai or Malda Khatipura (Jaipur) ke liye chlayi jayegi.
Or jaha tak mujhe umeed hai Hamare Gaya Sasaram route par Kolkata to Amritsar ya Kolkata SVDK (Katra) tak chalayi jayegi.
Baki dekho kya hota hai par yahi route mujhe lg rha hai.

I think NJP CDO is over burdened. They need to pass on some responsibilities to KIR or KNE CDOs 😂
I feel the only issue with this train is punctuality issue, NER, NR doesn't give proper importance to this train and this is the reason this train runs delayed most of the time.
I recommend Mahananda over this train to my friends 😂. Mahananda's punctuality has improved a lot in last few years..

I feel Katihar CDO shud be used and new train for ANVT, ASR should be explored via PRNA FBG Saraigarh Nirmali DBG NKE GKP CNB.
This route should also get a Delhi bound train & KIR CDO shud be used for maintenance.
KIR has 4 pitlines but only a small number of trains for primary maintenance..

Yes 3rd ac now a days, I don't expect much more as gone are those days when even on standing platforms window glasses were cleaned, but respective cdo should atleast take care of basics like washroom tap workings handwashes etc. My adjacent coach is A3 and washroom was equally pathetic maintenance wise. This train had a good image in my mind earlier but this time points would be down.quite possible whole rake needs an overhaul.

Mahananda has become a good train now few months back I travelled from pryj to dli. Coach condition was good but too many unauthorised passengers after kanpur and enroute stations was a major problem in that train. Amrapali is way better in everything but timings and schedule is bad.

A new bypass line is in progress at lalitgram. Could not take pictures but I saw. And rigorous work in progress for dbg bypass. After that few trains should originate from katihar via purnea fbg. That will develope the most neglected region in effective way. That route is awesome but needs to be straightened.

Went on to check 07310 MFP-VSG Summer Special at Karmali. Surprised to see the loco link a Pune Based WDG-4 #12461 long-hood EMD, no Electric Traction provided. No TB too on this one, it had a Clear Green Signal at Karmali on the main line and on the loop line 22114 KCVL-LTT waiting for the crossing but someone from the passengers did ACP and train came to stand still for 10 minutes on the main line. Overall, very unacceptable service for such long distance Special Train LHB rakes with no Pax Loco and no priority from DDU to KYN added almost 1 hour delay at every station in between. Now waiting for rake reversal at MAO from 44 minutes.

This train is a cruel joke on passengers. Controllers should have some degree of accountability in case trains run horribly late like this one. Better that Railways did not even run this train. In case of a holiday special in my opinion 4 to 5 hours of delay is acceptable but this is ridiculous. Overcrowding plus hot weather no pantry food it must have been hell of a journey for the passengers.

While I was talking pictures one of the general passengers asking me is there another train that will reach Madgaon faster than this 😂😭, i was like don't worry it will reach Madgaon in 30 minutes your wait is over. Yep, one hell of a journey for passengers in hot summers waiting patiently for their destination to reach.

Ac coaches were at the end before General Coaches. Couldn't find much rush in any coach including general it was almost empty I think most of the them got down at Thivim and very few at Karmali when the chain was pulled. Maybe there isn't much rush from returning journey (07310) but it will be fully occupied for sure, however if you compare 12741 vs 07309 in both up and down journey for the occupancy part WL is more in 12741.
