The project is expected to take 47 days to complete and will involve non-interlocking work for smooth passing of trains at Bhadrak Railway Station. The comprehensive yard remodeling will include shifting the Bay Line, Loco Reversal Line, and Inspection Carriage Siding. The Bay Line will also be extended to a full-length platform.
Once completed, the modernization work will enable trains to enter Bhadrak Station smoothly, without detentions at nearby stations. Passengers can expect smoother train operations, reduced waiting times, and enhanced overall service quality.
Temporary Cancellations and Divertions
To facilitate the modernization work, some trains will be cancelled, diverted, or partially cancelled for a period of 10 days. The affected trains include 04 pairs of Regular Mail/Express Trains, 05 pairs of Regular Local Passenger/MEMU Trains, 11 pairs of weekly trains, and 03 pairs of bi-weekly trains. Two pairs of trains will be partially cancelled. Passengers are requested to cooperate with the Railways for this modernization work, which will provide more benefits in the future.
