Consider going through the pdf.
Whilst some stations as mentioned by you are in, others are not as there isn't a continuous expanse. Afterall we need to stop somewhere. The stations I've taken are mainly those which can be considered "WITHIN" the city, because while for BPL it is still finite, for INDB the expanse is humongous. There is almost a continuous sprawl from DWX to INDB to Pithampur and DADN.
I consider DADN more like a satellite town of INDB than suburb. Will appreciate if some localite can comment upon this.

Jis station par number of originating trains jyada hongi, wah reserved passengers jyada honge aur earning bhi jyada hogi, Indore ke case me wahi hai,
This is the case with rewa as well. In comparison, junctions par UR passengers zyada hote, but shockingly gwl par sabse zyada hain
Gwalior apne region me ek matra bada station aas pas ke district gwalior par jyada depend karte hai, isliye UR jyada hai

Vande Metro fares are cheaper than the current Mumbai AC local fares. Vande metro base slab comes up to ₹1.2/Km whereas for Mumbai AC local it is ₹3.5/Km nearly 3 times higher.
