RailwayFiles~ 274 blog postsRunning this VB with 20 coaches is a bad idea, 8 chair car rake should do. This VBs revenue almost entirely depends on NGP and SC, i can say this is going to be a flop. There wont be many takers for any premium train on this entire stretch, apart from NGP and SC i don't see any other potential stop which can generate big revenue. But i really wish this VB proves me wrong.

To start at 6 am from NGP, there is Raj Group towards MAS/SC starting at 5:10 am. Not sure if IR will give RAJ overtake to VB or not. They can do parallel overtake before KZJ with 3rd line though.
What fake have you said for which FM had to warn you ? It was already given in print media that SC NGP VB will have 20 coaches.
Yeap, all the other VBS doing the same length are starting around 6 AM and reaching back around 10 PM. This VB is returning back and reaching by 8:20 PM is early. 6 AM - 1: 15 PM and 2 PM - 9:20 PM would be good timing.
In return it is anyways overtaking SC - NZM Rajadhani and Duronto according to timetable.
This VB train should have stop at Mancherial (MCI) station, Which is an major station and have good transport facilities to near by towns and Singareni coalmines area and Ramagundam (RDM) got stop only due to NTPC.

If Katihar people are using 22301, then why KIR HWH VB is proposed?
KIR people will come 60kms to Barsoi , then catch VB to Kolkata that too in night

ER not keen to run KIR-HWH VB. Better give 37001/02 HWH-RDP NaBha via Nabadwip Dham, 31001/02 SDAH-RPH NaBha via KNJ-BPC-AZ & 37003/04 HWH-BLGT NaBha via RPH-JRLE & 31003/04 SDAH-LGL NaBha via BT-BNJ-RHA-STP-KNJ-BPC. Since its trains set SDAH-LGL NaBha Trains can run via BT-BNJ-RHA-STP-KNJ route.

Tatanagar - Brahmapur VB was introduced keeping in mind the passengers of Chaibasa - Dangoaposi - Kendujhargarh - Jakhapura Section. First Railways decided to introduce a VB in this section. Then it began planning on the Source and Destination. So first Tatanagar - Puri was planned. When Puri expressed inability to handle one more VB, Tatanagar - Brahmapur was selected. If some problem would arise in Brahmapur destination, some other destination would be selected, but in every case this VB would run through this section and not through any other route. On the other hand, If any VB runs in the route you have recommended, it will not halt at Jhargram. It's halts would be Tatanagar, Hijli, Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road Junction, Puri.
If govt had passengers of this route in mind, a VB wouldn't have been run at al. Not all routes need an AC connection. This is running through rural Jharkhand. They could have just given a 22 coach ICE with multiple AC coaches instead. It's not like the VB is doing 160 kph here. None of the towns mentioned except for TATA [intermediate stations I mean] figure even in top 10 largest cities of Jharkhand. What this route needed foremost was an overnight M/E train, then a daily ICE and if demand was there, then a VB.

Correct. We need ICE in this section. But, as I have said earlier also that Modi has nothing to do with the needs of the people. People in this section are requesting for Ranchi - Barbil train since the last 20 years, but SER is denying on the basis that there is no coaching facility at Barbil. But then how are Barbil - Tatanagar passenger train, Barbil - Puri Express and Howrah - Barbil Janshatabdi Express running? If these trains are running, then Ranchi - Barbil train can also run. Other option was Ranchi - Kendujhargarh train in the route Ranchi - Kandra - Chaibasa - Dangoaposi - Banspani - Kendujhargarh. Or, as Barbil - Banspani line has long ago been sanctioned, after constructing the line Ranchi - Kendujhargarh train can be run in the route Ranchi - Kandra - Chaibasa - Barbil - Banspani - Kendujhargarh.
