The phased construction of these pit lines is set to be completed over the next few months: one line in February 2025, a second in March, and the third by May 2025.
After completion of these pitlines railways should shift primary maintenance of 14701/02 Shri Ganaganagar Bandra Terminus Aravalli express from Shri Ganganagar to Bandra Terminus because this train have a more than 14 hours lieover at Bandra Terminus and after shifting primary maintenance from Shri Ganaganagar to Bandra Terminus a daily slot will be available at Shri Ganganagar for a daily new train having 22 lhb coaches.
But by shifting of primary maintenance of 14701/02 a new daily slot will be available for a train with 22 lhb coaches and even after doing daily primary maintenance of 14701/02 at the new pitlines of Bandra Terminus many slots will be still available for doing primary maintenance of new or other trains and railways don't have any plans in future to construct new pitline at Shri Ganganagar so this idea of shifting primary maintenance from Shri ganganagar to Bandra Terminus will be fruitful for people of Shri Ganganagar.
I agree with your opinion but very less chance to shift PM at BDTS.
Why Shift PM to WR .. NWR kya itna bhi nahi kar sakte ? Unko karna kya hai ? Sirf Extension aur kuchh nahi
But IRCTC website is still open fir reservations from Pune to JAT. However, JAT to Pune, it shows cancelled.
