This train should really drop down it's number of AC coaches. The loop line to GKP doesn't have much/any big cities to justify 12 AC coaches. Plus the fact that this train operates as a defacto intercity in the morning b/w Lucknow and Sitapur/Mailani wherein SL/GN is overcrowded and AC runs vacant is ironical.
Arranging a rake is not the issue. An extra rake will occupy a line, and blocking a stabling line is not the optimum way to use the resources. Right now, zones are focusing on minimum turnaround time. Perhaps NER should restructure its standardised rake pattern and increase the number of sleeper coaches.

Projects are divided into sections and taken up simultaneously with target of 24- 30 months depending upon the concrete structures in that stretch. If major bridges are there which needs pillar construction greenfield then the target is 36months. Now after the project is grounded and actual field works starts the work flow will depend on project bill clearance in others words running bills which depends on fund allocation in form of budget for the financial year. The project progress also depends on technical problems encountered in the construction phase. So once project is grounded we can except the project can be completed in 3-5 yrs in phases. But I feel IR is lagging in project planning, execution and target acheivement. Best example is Vijayawada Gudur third line started in 2018 but not yet completed fully.
