The station is undergoing heavy renovation work. Half of the pathways are muddled. No ATVM counters [Sandila, a smaller station had them]. Not a single station board left standing. The 3 images that depict the words 'Balamau' were printed on main buildings.

Can someone from this area confirm if BLM has been expanded/modified to have 5 platforms now? I didn't find any relevant news regarding did but I think I heard PF #5 in the announcement [though I was at the far end of the platform , hence I can't be sure].
In Bombay, people in triple digits die per year either due to coming in front of train and dying [when crossing tracks] or slipping from trains. According to TOI and I am quoting Wikipedia here, "between 2002 and 2012, more than 36,152 people died and 36,688 people were injured".
The number was still 2k+ even in 2022.
