The Morning EMU service rolled in late at LKO NR. This variant was the old one [NR keeps changing rakes?] without any seat cushioning for most coaches [not that I care; All I cared for was the window]. The newer rakes also had toilets though.
The front coaches were full but the back side had seats empty, even a couple of window ones by the time the train started 10 mins late. It xinged with NDLS-LKO AC Express soon after and trudged like a tortoise upto Manaknagar where tons of people loved...
more... to board not from platform but from tracks [God knows why; to secure a better seat?].
The train got slowly full at furthur stations until there was no space left. Of course, no ticket checking was there on board. At Jaitipur, we were OT'd by CPR-Farrukabad Express. We broke free from Unnao ~30 mins late and reached this ramshackle of a station.
Lying between ON-CNB, this has low height platforms, hardly any cleanliness, no amenties, no FOB or anything. Though few more trains stop here including the CNB-ALD passenger via ON and CNB-STP passenger via ON.Spotted is the EMU standing at the station from low lying platforms, station board, a goods train standing and a view of the SM office [well next to it].
