why is that as train seat available reflect here NOT physically available on counter or online . Also NO bkg window available on this
I know trains have end slacks built in but this train has an average speed of 4 kph b/w two stations due to slack. I have seen some trains go into single digits but never slower than walking speed.

That seems unoptimized, to use a soft term. To let higher classes [say 2A and 3A] go vacant is sheer stupidity. If seats are available in higher class, then even if SL is not full, random tickets should be upgraded. IR doesn't lose/gain anything by doing this but it will be beneficial/make the day for many end users.

yes, confirm tickets do get upgraded, but the lower class in which ticket has been booked, has to be in WL/RAC status. If 3a shows available seats (OR, all passengers have been allotted confirm seats at time of charting), then no PNR of that class will be upgraded to 2a or 1a...& Anyways, upgradation is rare.
Ideally that's fine... But in the end only thing is about clearing WL/RAC passengers (fully automated) and
not much about the ground situations !! I've myself expected an upgradation while travelling in the SBC MYS Sector in 3A, to 2A/1A but it never upgraded. Later got to know lower class needs to be booked fully!!(In SL too, daily pax fill it up but bookings are empty)
Higher classes going empty as such, isn't IRs "concern".

That's a shame. Apart from 15009/10, I have seen BJU-LJN Express's 3A [and I assume 2A being empty] as well but hardly folks get upgraded.
Ohh... They just upgrade enough people to clear RAC /WL on charting !!..

This LED system of train boards has largely been proved to be a failure of late as 90% of them are either off or show wrong info. CDO staff have neither time nor resources to address them. In VB it works becoz their control is set by LP/Guards.
Sometimes the LED system shows co ordinates instead of train name/number. Either case, with more and more stations getting lighting at night, train boards are getting easier to read.
I have seen monitors/TVs installed at stations showing IP addresses as well. I have seen them showing moving data as well [like "Train name via X,Y,Z" in a scrolling form] and sometimes wrong info. It showed S [Sleeper class I assume] on AC 3 Tier in Lucknow Mail when it was standing.
