the Simple trick to find mps from #raceblog , observed by me as well as RKS sir
if train has mps of 130kmph then track it for 30-40 mins on high speed section
(((( for info gzb to ald is 130kmph approved ))))

if you get figures like 30 min 60 km or 40 min 80 km then its confirm that train has 130 mps.

for ex i tracked sk yesterday from SNIE to SYWN ( cnb - ald section )
i got fig of 34 min 67 km .
this can be done for any train which is supposed to be 130 approved
get high priority and do 130 continous for 2 hours hence typical figures for Patna rajdhani are 80 min 160 km

today tracked from Etw to Maitha, 108 kms in 52 mins... for one or two stations it might be little mistake but for longer durations you will get the clear value.. for example if you will see a train crossing 8 kms in 4 mins, then it might be the work of seconds too which will mean that it will be near to 110, but for a longer period if the same gap continues then the MPS will be above

yes sir , main point is Long time observtion.
for 1 or 2 stn like 4-5 min NTES may give error value but doing it long time like 40-50 min will give correct analysis ..

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...
