Spirited WAP-4 powering 25 coaches Kaziranga Superfast sprints, and curves past furiously!!!
Macho- man 22771 HWH shed WAP-4 horns, and gallops past Chengail station on SER's Kharagpur- Santragachi stretch with the gigantic 25 coaches load of 12509 Bangalore City (SBC)- Guwahati (GHY) Tri-Weekly KAZIRANGA Superfast Express, which includes 9 air- conditioned coaches. The train, which is one of the highest revenue earner
for North- East Frontier Railways, was running 10 minutes behind schedule. It is also one of the highest demanded trains in Indian Railways, and runs with either high WL, or REGRET throughout the year. But surprisingly this train does not have any fixed coach composition. It varies between 24- 25 coaches, which includes 8- 10 a.c. coaches.
After getting a reversal at Howrah, a single WDM- 3A or WDM- 3D will be given charge to carry the train to its destination safely. Want to see the poor condition of WDM-3A succumbing under 25 coaches load?? Then follow the links:

The train follows the mammoth Bangalore City- Bangalore Cantt.- Krishnarajapuram- Bangarapet- Jolarpettai- Katpadi- Arrakkonam- Chennai Central- Vijaywada- Vishakapatnam- Brahmapur- Khurdah Road- Bhubaneshwar- Cuttack- Jajpur Keonjhar Road- Kharagpur- Santragachi- Howrah- Bolpur Shantiniketan- Rampurhat- Malda Town- Kishanganj- New Jalpaiguri- New Cooch Behar- New Alipurduar- New Bongaigaon- Rangiya- Kamakhya- Guwahati route of SWR/ SCR/ SR/ ECoR/ SER/ ER/ NFR to cover 2992 kms in 54 hours. It is named after the world famous Kaziranga National Park in Assam. The train badly needs a WDP- 4/ 4B/ 4D or twin WDM- 3A/ 3D for its journey between Howrah and Guwahati, and also needs to be made daily.

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...
