..at present, officials from SWR are telling bangalore-mumbai had already 2 daily trains + many weekly ones.. and under current constraints its not possible to adjust the schedule of a new superfast.. trains hav to hault for the crossings in single lines, so superfast is not possble untill the doubling work gets complete.. :-/

Only one dedicated daily train (Udyan). LTT-CBE cannot be counted as exclusive SBC-Mumbai train, as the quota available is less. 2 shades of Chalukyas are also in the same category. Weekly trains to Gujarat/ Rajasthan are for GJ/ RJ people and not for SBC-Mumbai passengers. These weekly trains reach/ leave KYN/ YPR/KJM at odd hours and roam around Karnataka helping no one. (JP YPR dep at YPR 0500, ADI/ Jodhpur/ Ajmer/ Barmer trains reach KYN at midnight 0100 and reach YPR/ SBC at 0330, unsuitable at both ends. SBC-Mumbai passengers need a really good train, which could cover the distance in 19-20 hours.

lost all my hopes.. anyway, airlines giving 2k-2.5k tickets from mumbai-bengaluru so not much worried about train now.. ;-)
