I had traveled three times in SDAH NDLS Duronto in June 2010, Sept 2011 and July 2014.
All the journeys of mine had been a "indelible one" in all respect.

What inefficiency of ECoR u r talkin abt ?? though ur this post is an old post bt still let me infrm u tht trains upto BBS n PURI r gettin WAP-7s... now BBS Rajdhani is getting a WAP-7 upto BBS n Utkal exp is gettin it too upto Puri.. even BBS duronto is seen with P7 at BLS...but the irony is that sometimes Bbs rajdhani is also seen with SRC WAP-4...it clearly means that after loco reversal at KGP this is provided with a P4 n that P7(which comes frm NDLS with BBS Raj) is used to haul some other train... if P4 is given to it from NDLS then it gets a GZB P4 not SRC's..
Utkal exp gets a TKD WAP-7 regularly bcoz it doesnt undergo loco reversal at KGP n it passes through Hijili...so KGP officials don't get any chance to give it's loco to any other train
Why LGD WAP-7 is not given upto HWH is still a mystery..but what u have written that ECoR doen't have the capacity to run P7 is completely wrong.. For your information SCR does not even give LGD WAP-4 up to HWH/SHM/SDAH...many trains such as Coromandal exp, Falaknuma exp, SC-SHM Exp , East coast exp and many more south bound trains get LGD P4 up to VSKP only...after loco change and rake reversal at VSKP all these trains get SRC WAP-4/ HWH WAP-4/VSKP WAP-4.. And already 3 trains of ECoR ( BBS Rajdhani ,BBS Duronto and Utkal Express ) are getting WAP-7s of GZB and TKD end to end..
