I've been on the SDAH NDLS Duronto train three times in June 2010, Sept 2011, and July 2014. Every journey was absolutely amazing. Let me tell you some of the awesome things about this train: 1. The food, both dinner, and breakfast, was awesome. The Catering Staff was super nice and served the food with a smile. 2. The compartments were clean and well-maintained by the rail staff at Narkeldanga carshed SDAH. 3. The sweepers on board did a great job of keeping the toilets clean. 4. Passengers were provided with clean bedsheets and linens. 5. The TTEs were cooperative and friendly when it came to allotting berths to RAC/Waitlisted passengers. 6. The train ran at a nice speed and was always on time. In my opinion, this is one of the best trains from Kolkata to NDLS, even better than the Rajdhani, especially considering the fare and other amenities. I also traveled on the Rajdhani in 2011 and 2012, but the amenities were not up to the mark. The SDAH Duronto is definitely better. Attached are some pictures: A. SDAH Duronto at Dhanbad Jn. B. I recommend that all rail fans make this train their "First Preference" when traveling from Kolkata to NDLS. In short: SDAH Duronto is: 1. A nice train. 2. The first Duronto of Indian Railways. 3. Brings back nostalgic memories. So, my only request is to permanently change its Loco Link to WAP7 and bring back its glory. It would also be great if it became a "DAILY SERVICE" like the Mumbai Ahmedabad Duronto. I would love to hear your valuable opinions about this "train tip".

Mere sabhi safar ke liye "badlav na lane wala andaz" hua hai.
Is train ke kuch khaas khubiya hai:
1. Sabse sundar khana, (dinner& breakfast), waqt par chalne ke liye tarif ke qabil aur "Catering Staff" ke logon ki madad karne aur yatriyo ke saath vyavhaar karne ke liye sharmila karmchari.
2. Rail staff dwara Narkeldanga Carshed SDAH se kafi saaf aur maintain kiya hua hai.
3. Lavatories ki safai ke liye on board bhangiyo ki achhi seva.
4. Yatriyo ke liye saaf bedsheets aur linens.
5. TTEs ki madad se RAC/Waitlisted yatriyo ke liye acche bhitar sajawat aur servise.
6. Safar ke dauran achhi raftaar aur waqt ki pabandi.
Isse ye saaf pata chalta hai ki ye Kolkata se NDLS ke liye ek bahut hi acchi train hai. Mujhe lagta hai Rajdhani se bhi behtar hai.(Fare aur dusre suvidhao ke drihsya se).
