Train covers 2200+ kilometres with just 19 halts inspite of that average speed is below 55kph complete looting by IR.
12741 - 4 scheduled overtakes.
12742 - 7 scheduled overtakes including 3 by M/E trains.
Why cant IR run it at 60kph average speed by reducing the slack and the overtakes it runs through high speed sections and is a superfast but priority wise...

I travelled once this year by this train n observed that it has very less priority. Because of this I had to spend 2 hrs at Kalyan in the night to catch a local towards dadar...

Yeah very low priority I have seen it waiting at Verna for around 40 minutes for Matsysagandha express overtake. So waste of time it could easily reach Panvel ahead of Matsysagandha but no one cares about it. Train can easily reach Panvel at 5 am if it was not for that stupid overtake.

12620 departs MAO at 20.40 and arrives PNVL at 5.10 with 3 halts.
12741 departs MAO at 20.00 and arrives PNVL at 6.20 with 4 halts.
Shame on those who made schedule for this superfast train this thing happens in every zone it travels so gets badly overtaken and also delayed.
