As per the new railway budget proposal, 120 days ARP will commence on all trains with effect from 01 April 2015. A few questions need clarification though - 1. What will happen to trains which currently have ARP less than 60 days ? What will happen to the transition in reservations between March and April when the new ARP is implemented ? How can we get a list of trains with their respective ARPs post 01 April 2015 ? How will the ARP of 120 days treat the reservations from originating stations vis a vis a mid journey station ?
Only trains which were with 60 ARP will be changed to be as 120 Days ARP. Some trains have 30 days ARP which they continue to be.The bookings already done shall be intact.

ARP of trains having 60 days is enhanced to 120 days...
This affects passengers only who wish to book tickets early... Those wishing to book on 30th May can book now on 01.04.2015.
Change of ARP will not affect those trains with ARP10 or ARP30...

There was PR from SCR that 120 days ARP will commence from 1st April...
