there is EMU train available between SRC & HWH, but my point is little different, I am not suggesting to all train pushing to HWH or SDAH, rather I am asking for a new terminal station which is in congested area of main Kolkata proper town, like salt lake, new town, ultadanga, ballygunj, behala, jadavpur, dharmtola, rabindra sadan, airport, nager bajar, salt lake karunamoyee etc, These area can easily be reached from anywhere in kolkata at a very short time, SRC is station can not be reached easily at late night or early morning to catch the train or returning to home at proper kolkata (specially for North Kolkata people- it is very hard)

there is EMU service in SRC, santragachi to mecheda, santragachi to panskura but it is very very rare & low frequency, according to my knowledge daily 2-3 services between those station, but u can catch all the up/down EMU train trains which are from/towards HWH - towards/from KGP, it all halts at SRC

there is nothing- for which SER has thinking of developing the SRC station to a terminal station, why not SER thinking kolkata main town base any congested area for making a new terminal station ??
