The highest speed being 150 KPH approximately is the Max permissible speed at present. The Bhopal Shatabdi is the only Train presently running at this Top speed. Feasibility study is still in the pipe line to run Semi High Speed Bullet Trains with speeds up to 200 KPH in the near future.

The presently running Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches are fit for speeds upto 160 KPH only. How ever Rajdhani Class Trains are doing a max speed of 130 to 140 KPH only presently.
