The train fondly called as Food King has won numerous accolades for its wonderful pantry food and I must say the food is definitely top notch.
As far as enjoying the route is concerned, book a Sleeper Class Ticket instead of AC. There are absolutely no unreserved passengers and the train gets more or less empty at Ratnagiri.
Added to it the gentle and laid back pace of this train makes it one of the safest to do doorplating, thus allowing you to enjoy the route even if you don't have a Window...
