Query on Tatkal Reservations
Folks, it is my observation that even though you get a higher Wait List for Tatkal Tickets, there is a high probability of your tatkal reservation gets confirmed. But, WL does not move much in general for last two days .
Does this mean, the cancellation in General quota will get moved to Tatkal Quota. I am travelling with my aged mom, I do not not like to take chances.

I'm confirming that current trend of General WL tickets are very unlikely get confirmed, and the cancellations are being moved to Tatkal Quota from general quota.
I did reserve on AP Express from Hyd -> NDLS for 3A on 20/3 with WL status is 25. I posted PNR forum gave prediction for confirmation 15/15. Before 2 days of journey 21/5, the WL status is 8, and it got moved to 6, a day before journey. It did not move till the chart prepared, and at the final chart preparation it got moved to 3. But the Tatkal waitlist status moved from 35 -> 16 before the chart preparation. I'm sure all tatkal tickets might have got confirmed.
