Station is neat and clean, u didn't require a mirror for makeup and hair dressing, as floors are shining with escalators, the whole facilities available which is given to A1 category station, also entering station there is SVDSB registration counter available from there you can register yourself for SVDK yatra, stand in line, when ur numbers come just say ur name and district, after see in camera and they click ur picture, and give u card which is having bar code, this registration is only for 6 hours validation to cross first check post BadhGanga, after exit from station you have to pay 100-150 bugs to go to katra bus stand for hotels, or u can also get some person who will give u service like 4 person then 1 double bed room with attached bathroom toilets, LCD, Geyser etc, for 24 hours as well as they will pick up u from station to their guest house which is totally safe and better for family members, the van service will also help u to reach 1st check post and in return they will pickup u from same place, amount they took is only 550-600 bugs bucks for 24 hours for 4 person, also in non rush season trains running empty from JAT to SVDK ans SVDK to JAT, train coming from JAT always goes to PF1 at SVDK and train going to JAT from PF3 from SVDK, pf 2 use for only busy purposes etc, station is having lots of solar panels I have ever seen at any station, which really impressed me, the scene was awesome, there are total 11 tunnels from UHP to SVDK in which 4 km is bigger one and in tunnels u will feel some suffocation due to diesel loco used, but the scene was really nice even u can see the hills through which people's treks to bhawan and from bhawan trekking u will see station especially in nights its look really awesome, Pic #2 shows station board and UTTAR SK standing at PF1 and another pic #1 shows the hill use for trekking bhawan
