IR should decide the criteria for declaring any train as SUPER FAST. There should be some parameters to put this "super fast" tag. Passengers unnecessary paying Super-fast charges to slow and late trains.
In my point of view, A trains should be declare as super fast if
1. Average Speed >60 or 65
2. Max stoppage between source and destination should not

be more than 5 or 7.
3. Average Delay not more than 1 hour
4. Maximum speed should reach 110 KMPH or above.
I know couple of trains between Delhi and Patna who are superfast but of no use. Either they run slower or average delay is more than 3 hours. Why IR charging for such trains.
Like Magadh Express, Vikramshila Express, Seemanchal express, North-east express such trains has zero marks in punctuality, still taking charges for SF.
Your feedback required on this.

1. Can be done.
2. Not possible else trains like Coromandel express would get downgraded to express.
Similar with long distance trains like Kerela Express
3. Even rajdhanis get delayed over an hour. Hence not possible in any case.
4.

Sometimes tracks aren't good enough for 110 kmph too like some flood prone areas in north Bihar. There are lines like Gorakhpur Gonda line which also don't have 110 full permit.
Hence can't be done.
Only point 1 looks practical to me.

Look nfr is a special zone.
It should get some concessions.
Look at the challenges it faced.
The standards asked by him are just too high.
If IR follows his standards strictly then two of

the Dibrugarh Rajdhanis would get downgraded to express.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
