12440 was running with Grand Daddy 22061 EX WAP 1 ASHOK, presently WAP 4. The 1st halt was given at DAP, at about 1 AM, where it was overtaken by 12314 after waiting for 7 - 8 mins. Dont know why was it made to halt. The 2nd halt was given at ARW for almost 1 hour where 12306 and 22812 overtook it. The problem was with the grand old daddy. The rake was 10 3A, 6 2A, 1 1A, 2 EOG, 1 PC. The P7 would have made remarkable improvement in the accl figure. The accl of this grandpa was ' Oh my God, what is my fault ? Why am I made to haul such long trains at thus high speed ? '. Yesterday I had a small talk with the LP. They too complained about the problems they face with such locos, but NDLS isn't in a mood...
