Great route indeed. This train has given me a nostalgic feeling, as during my college days (25 yrs back) when there was S/F connectivity from Chattisgarh DURG/R/BSP) to Delhi, I used to wish for such a connectivity to Delhi via NDLS-HWH (the fastest route). But later realized that such train is highly improbable because the NDLS-ALD was one of the most saturated route in IRlys and also congestion at ALD station. But after commissioning of Eastern DFC by the year 2018-19, the NDLS-ALD will be ready to take on this train.
A big advantage of this route, as compared to distances in the conventional route (via NGP), distance between of this train from Delhi to Durg shall be same, R-shall be 75...
more... kms shorter, BSP/uslapur shall be 300kms shorter. For this reason & craze of Fast NDLS-HWH route, I always wished for this route.
Beauty of this train is, it shall be taking a new route which no other train follows now and provide new connectivities between different cities of UP(ALJN/ETW,MP & CG.
One suggestion for improvement is to postpone its departure from ANVT by 3-4 hrs so as to reach Uslapur around 6am. Timings for CNB & ALD shall still also be OK in the new time table.
Another suggestion is to opt for LHB rake as about 750km (ANVT-ALD622, uslapur-Durg150)out of total 1365km shall be Semi High Speed track with in 2-3 years, where the LHB train can run at mps of 130kmph and save around 2 hours.
