P Das 9 blog postsCan anybody tell please what ails this train 12403 ALD JP SUPERFAST EXPRESS? This train has been getting late for the last few weeks by 5-6 hrs on an average almost everyday, in reaching Mathura from Allahabad which is a very short distance of about 500 km. The other day it was late by more than 12 hrs in reaching Mathura? I am getting scared in purchasing a ticket by this train for a journey from ALD to MTJ! Pls suggest why this train is getting so late everyday and why it is so utterly neglected by NCR? How can it be a superfast train with so pathetic performance and so poor patronage? Pls reply soon... I was thinking of getting tickets by this train for going from HWH to MTJ via ALD rather than going via NDLS in order to save time & reach MTJ in the morning......

I had travelled only once in this train(12404) & reached dot on time at ALD & thushad to wait for 14 hrs at ALD to catch connecting train
I would like to know why this train 12403 is getting this unusually late for so long time. Is any railway work going on on its way, if so, when that work is going to be completed? Or is there any other reaaon like monsoon rain, etc? Pls tell me whats going with this train day after day.
