A youth of Kashmiri origin was on Thursday allegedly physically assaulted by a fellow passenger from Jharkhand on board the New Delhi- Ranchi Garib Rath Express after a heated debate on the ensuing tensions in the valley.
Fellow passengers said MS Baig (32), who was travelling to Mughalsarai in Uttar Pradesh from New Delhi in G-14 coach (PNR 2120255986), was hurled abuses and later beaten by an unidentified passenger from Garhwa in Jharkhand after the former reportedly spoke in support of the 'Azadi Movement' that is raging in the valley following Hizbul Mujahideen operative Burhan Wani's encounter by the Indian armed forces early this month.
Baig could not be reached till late Thursday evening, fellow passengers said the victim was slapped after he reportedly said 'The Indian Armed Forces will be driven away from Kashmir by Pakistani forces like dogs'.
"We were in the next coupe when we heard heated arguments. The victim was heard saying that the Indian Army will be driven away from Kashmir by Pakistani forces like dogs," Jagmohan Singh, a fellow passenger said over phone from the train. "He was also reportedly saying northern India will be in trouble if Kashmir stops providing water," the passenger said. However, no formal complaint was lodged with the Railway Police Force, the passengers claimed.

Now all such things happen in trains also. Some Leftist inclined TV news channels may now twist this news and project that why was a poor (bechara) man slapped by his co-passenger. Should freedom of expression be suppressed by intolerance? Blah blah....... >:(
But I wonder that did this passenger from the valley have the same views about our Indian Army when it's soldiers were rescuing hundreds of citizens like him from the flood waters that spelt havoc in J & K State of Northern India last year? :(

I condemn whatever he mentioned as per the news article, but violence is not the solution. We can only win kashmiri's hearts by talks and discussion, violence will only make them anti-national as it will make them think that what ever they are doing is right and violence by armed forces is being thrusted on them so ultimately their thinking which has to change will not change and hence the anti-national movements will keep on prevailing, so we must understand Kashmiri's are Indians citizens and we must equally treat them like we deal any other citizens from Delhi or Mumbai etc.

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...
