Introducing the RailCal Offline Forum

1. RailCal now has a side-swiping Offline Forum, synchronized with the main IRI Forum. You swipe sideways to peruse through different blogs. Each blog tab will show ONE Blog Entry and all its replies.

You automatically get notifications for Pvt Posts, RF Club Posts and whenever any of your Blogs get replies. EVERYTHING is available OFFLINE. Also, you may download the latest Public Forum posts on demand, for viewing and replying Offline.

3. RailCal's Offline features are especially tailored for working with poor and intermittent Network Connections, for example, when you are on a Train trip. Information is downloaded incrementally, whenever network is available - so no more frustrations.

4. While viewing your messages offline, you may Post new Blogs, Replies to existing blogs. You may upload Pictures you take with your mobile Camera. Your postings and pictures are uploaded in the background incrementally, whenever Network is available. So, once again, NO WAITING.
Just Post it and Forget it!!!
Your blogs will be automatically posted in the background whenever Network is available, with the ORIGINAL TimeStamp (i.e. when you hit the Post button).

6. You can now seamlessly record and upload Station sounds, Train/Loco sounds, etc. through the RailCal microphone. Just record, post it and forget it.

Several other enhancements are upcoming within the next few days to bring all website features to RailCal.
