Mysuru Palace is one of the biggest attraction in the city. It takes around 1 or 1.5 hour to complete the tour and we have to keep our shoes outside. The palace provides fantastic photography opportunities from outside. Photography is not allowed from inside. You can also take battery operated vehicle which takes tour of the palace.
As per my knowledge the palace is lit up with over 1,00,000 lights from 7 PM to 7:30 PM every Sunday evening. Unfortunately, our trip did not allow us to be present at that moment.

attraction is Mysuru zoo which hosts animals from outside India E.g. Giraffe. Children will surely love visiting the zoo.

There are no direct trains from Mysuru to Ratlam as per my knowledge. One can take 12975 from Mysuru and Get down at Nagda Junction which is around 40 kms away from Ratlam. Alternatively, one can take 12613 Tippu Express from Mysuru to Bengaluru Junction, 11014 from Bengaluru Junction to Pune Junction and either 22943 Pune - Indore Superfast (M,T,T,F,S) or 12939 Pune - Jaipur Superfast (S, W) to reach Ratlam Junction.
I have created chain for this. The chain number is 22689. You can check other chains as well

ok. I guess I misunderstood your query. I am not sure if direct connectivity is possible from Mysuru to Ratlam. May be other senior members can suggest.

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...
