There is no rule that a Rajdhani express should start from the State capital. Train no. 12423 Assam Rajdhani runs from Dibrugarh and not Guwahati and 12442 Chattisgarh Rajdhani runs from Bilaspur and not Raipur. When a small state like Goa has Rajdhani, why can’t AP?
I also suggest that the 12804 Swarna Jayanthi SF express should be made daily and extended to Katra (Vaishno Devi temple), 12808 Samata SF express should be extended to Dehradun for the benefit of those going to Haridwar and Roorkee.

Mr. Neeladri Rao wants the option given by the passengers to be considered to the extent possible.

VSKP needs SBC and MAS connection with comfortable timings more than NDLS connection. Long distance train like this AP AC exp doesn't have much impact on occupancy even though it becomes RAJ.

If not Raj it should be like APSK or KSK exp .. but it should not run just for the sake of SF tag (55KMPH) and that even though there are other trains all those like SJ & Samata are day trains consuming two days . The present train is clone to SJ in both directions ..
It should be like two nights and day like Tamilnadu exp.

Yes AP deserves a Raj and it would be better if it starts from Vizag as it can serves 4 Cities like Kakinada, Rajahmundr, Vijayawada and Guntur.
If not Raj it would be gr8 if it starts at night on day one and reaches delhi on day3 morning.
